Mommy and Me Art Class

my little artist, smock is from Mimi the Sardine an eco-friendly line of bibs and aprons

I'm a stay at a home mom, so I do need certain structured activities to keep Raffy busy and to give me a break from full-time entertaining her. Even though it's parent participation, it still gives me a break from having to come up with ideas of things to do with her.

She's been doing different things since she was 4 months old, it was Mommy & Me classes, Baby & Me Swimming, Music classes in the beginning, but now that she is walking and semi-talking and understanding some directions, I've signed her up for Art Class for 15-23 month olds. This is through the city and they have a great little set-up going on. Different stations for the kids to express themselves (easels for painting, playdoh crafting, and drawing), and an art activity lesson that they do, like last week was making art with fabric scraps. She doesn't quite get it all at her age, but I like that she gets out and interacts with other children and is exposed to different things.
