This is the photo we used for our Christmas cards. I always love this time of the year. I love decorating, baking, presents, spending time with the loved ones, and making our annual holiday cards. I always try to top the year before, which I did not even plan on doing since I had just sent out Raffy's birth announcements. But it turned out quite sweet for a last minute idea. Raffy was about 3 months old, we just added some text to a black and white photo of her, and I drew in color, in Photoshop, a red nose and brown antlers. This year, I had planned it out and had time to add some special touches.
We had booked a photo shoot with our friend Brian, we planned to shoot at a Christmas tree lot, but the night before, Steve was checking the weather forecast for San Jacinto State Park, and they had just received the first snow of the year. So we decided we wanted to drive 2 hours to frolic and play in the snow. Thank goodness Brian was game with the plan changes. And beautiful pictures of the three of us and Raffy's first time seeing snow was the end result.
